Description:
Dynamical systems serve as powerful tools in describing the time evolution of a system’s state. Applications are broad, ranging from molecular dynamics to planetary motion. The Dynamical Systems Student Symposium aims to bring together students and early-career researchers from Australia whose interests lie in dynamical systems. The symposium will cover a wide range of topics including topological dynamics, ergodic theory and complex dynamics. The event will feature student presentations and talks by established researchers.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their research in a supportive environment, receive feedback from peers and experts, engage in open discussions that encourage collaboration, and explore new topics outside of their research scope. The schedule is designed to facilitate collaboration among participants by minimising talks and providing ample time for discussions. With a strong emphasis on student participation, we hope that the Dynamical Systems Student Symposium will strengthen the dynamical systems student community across Australia.
