Organisers: Magnus Goffeng (Chalmers University of Technology/University of Gothenburg), Adam Rennie (University of Wollongong), Aidan Sims (University of Wollongong)

A range of recent developments across the interface between dynamics and K-theory have demonstrated that Kasparov’s KK-theory has a crucial role to play in the study of algebraic invariants of dynamical systems. This program will bring together the world’s leading experts in an intensive research workshop to enable the next round of advances in this fascinating circle of ideas. The workshop will be preceded by an accessible introduction to two key classes of dynamical systems and to the fundamentals of KK-theory, aimed at local graduate students and delivered by these world experts.
