PhD students in the mathematical sciences – this one’s for you!

MATRIX and AMSI are inviting you to design and run your own research symposium in 2026.

This is your chance to:

• Exchange ideas & collaborate with peers

• Build your research network

• Shape the format – talks, problem-solving, posters, social activities – it’s up to you!

Most symposia will be online, but one selected group will get the opportunity to meet in person at MATRIX (Creswick) in the week 18-22 May 2026, with accommodation, catering and limited transport covered!
