Program Description: In physics, supersymmetric quantum field theories are of particular interest due to their relations to mathematical branches such as representation theory, algebraic geometry, number theory and mathematical physics.

Representation theory, algebraic geometry, number theory are central branches of mathematics. Their relations due to (mathematical) physics yields unexpected new exciting and similar structures in these branches. This workshop will bring together leading mathematicians and physicists interested in the links. The aim of this workshop is to encourage and support the interaction and collaboration between the mathematics and physics, and to unravel more deep connections.

The first week will consist of lecture series by prestigious international leading experts on cutting-edge topics in representation theory, algebraic geometry, number theory related to BPS states and Calabi–Yau categories as well as in the underlying physical theories. The second week will be a conference with research talks by leading Australian and international experts. Among the anticipated participants are female speakers (one female key speaker), early career researchers, graduate students, and speakers from Europe, the U.S., and East Asia.
