Program Description:

This program will bring together researchers in coarse graph theory, graph product structure theory, metric embeddings, and approximation algorithms. All these fields study the global structure and geometry of graphs from a variety of perspectives. We emphasise that there is much overlap. Indeed, we anticipate progress on open problems through the cross-fertilisation of ideas from the different fields. The goal is for participants from each domain to learn about results and tools from the other domains, to solve open problems together, and to initiate lasting collaborations. The intent of the program is to bring together a mix of researchers at various stages of their careers. The program will include a few survey-type lectures, but the vast majority of time will be dedicated for collaborative problem solving.
