     8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Organisers:
Josef Dick (University of New South Wales)
Michael Feischl (TU Wien)
Peter Kritzer (Austrian Academy of Sciences)
Houying Zhu (Macquarie University)

Program Description:
The goal of this research program is to bring together experts working on high-dimensional data with background in various fields such as statistical learning, high-dimensional numerical analysis, and approximation theory. In particular, to highlight the connections between numerical analysis and practical applications. This research program will bring together experts in these diverse areas, allow participants to collaborate on a large variety of approaches and push forward the state-of-the-art in computational mathematics.
