Program Description:
This workshop aims to bring new insights and methods to the study of low-dimensional manifolds by gathering researchers from various subfields of low-dimensional topology who have a high potential for productive interaction. It will bring together researchers working on problems in knot theory, 3-manifolds and 4-manifolds and include experts who bring diverse perspectives that have developed independently and do not often interact with each other. The goal of the workshop is to create interaction between these fields in order to encourage collaboration and concrete problem solving. Due to the different time zones teams of researchers to work on problems almost around the clock during the days of the workshop.
